Leadership-Church Council Leadership Team

At Tavares Community Church, we hold our Church Council Leadership Team in high esteem. They are chosen with great discernment and prayer. In this, we are confident that our Leaders have been select by God to seek God’s will for our church in both temporal (buildings, staff….) and spiritual (worship, discipleship, spiritual health of the church….) matters. Church Council Leaders need to Professing Members, Affiliate Members, or Associate Members.

One of the key texts about church leadership is, “Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you. (Hebrews 13:17). To be called as a Leader within the Church Council Leadership Team is a calling from God to have weighty authority for which there is great accountability.
